Q: What is Alfresco's outdoor furniture made out of?
A: Our entire collection has been individually selected for design and quality. Each piece has been hand-woven from synthetic Polyethylene rattan. The furniture is rust resistant with powder coated aluminium frames and made out of strong and durable synthetic, non toxic fibres. All furniture is colourfast, lightweight and comfortable.
Q: Can I leave my furniture outside all year around?
A: This product has many unique attributes and performance capabilities which enables it to be permanently used all year round outdoors. Alfresco's furniture is UV and weather resistant to cracking, peeling and corrosion. The cushions are made out of quick dry foam and are machine washable. We recommend bringing the cushions inside in heavy rain for longer life.
Q: Can you custom make furniture to fit our unique specifications?
A: Alfresco can supply a wide range of furniture sets further to what you will find on this site. We can also custom fit furniture sets to suit your requirements.
Q: How much maintenance is required to keep the furniture looking top quality?
A: The beauty of rattan outdoor furniture is that it is maintenance free, requiring no staining or special treatments. The woven fibres are strong and durable requiring only a light dusting, vacuuming, or wipe with a soft cloth will keep the furniture is top quality condition.
Q: Do you deliver NZ wide?
A: We can organise shipping and delivery throughout New Zealand.
Q: How do I take care of the cushions and squabs?
A: All sets are supplied with cream polyester seat cushions or squabs which zip-off for machine washing. These are water resistant but will need to be stored under-cover to avoid getting wet and damp. Polyester is a manufactured product made from synthesized polymers. It tends to be very resilient, quick drying, resistant to biological damage such as mould and mildew, and easy to wash.
